​  At Hebert Sporthorses, our teaching philosophy is rooted in the classical principles of dressage, following the proven structure of the German training scale.

  Under the guidance of Katie Hebert, riders benefit from a systematic yet individualized approach that builds:

   Katie’s instruction emphasizes not only correctness and clarity, but also the development of feel—the rider’s ability to listen to the horse, make subtle adjustments, and ride with empathy. Whether you’re polishing your basics or preparing for upper-level work, lessons are tailored to support your growth in a way that is thoughtful, kind, and deeply effective.

Private lessons

  Our private lessons are designed to offer one-on-one coaching with a focus on classical dressage fundamentals, rider biomechanics and harmony between horse and rider.

​  Each session is fully customized based on your current level, goals, and your horse's development.

Available for:

• Riders with their own horses
• Trailer-in students
• On-site lease clients

Location:  Hebert Sporthorses, Folsom, LA
Length:  45 minutes
Rate:  $65 per session


*Lesson horses/schoolmasters are not available.  Riders must have their own horse.

Virtual Lessons

  Perfect for riders outside our local area or those looking to stay connected while traveling.  Our virtual lessons can be conducted via Zoom, Pivo or Facetime, offering real-time feedback and remote coaching with the same high standard of detail and encouragement...without all of the travel fees or having to fill a clinic.

What you need:

• A reliable video setup (Zoom, Pivo, Facetime, or similar)
• Wireless earbuds or speaker for clear communication
• A strong Wi-Fi connection at your riding location

Length:  45 minutes

Cancellation Policy:
24-hour notice is required to avoid a cancellation fee.
Weather-related cancellations will be rescheduled at no charge.
